This article summarizes NTT Ltd’s Cloud Core Services offering, including what user facing features are available in the associated application in the NTT Service Portal.
Core Services is a set of “light” management capabilities available to NTT Ltd. customers migrating to the Microsoft Azure platform from other NTT cloud offerings. These capabilities are available to customers to access and manage through the Cloud Core Services application available in the NTT Services Portal.
Azure Resources
Azure Resources provides a view into the Azure environment, including:
- Azure Resources and Virtual Machines – Provides a summary of customer resources on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Azure Backup Jobs – Summary reporting on the status of all backup jobs associated with resources in a given Azure Subscription / Resource Group / Vault combination
- Azure Metrics – High-level view into the CPU, Network, Disk Bytes, and Disk Operations associated with each Azure Virtual Machine
For more details on how to configure and use these functions, see the following articles:

Security Services: Threat Detection
The optional Threat Detection offering provides a fully automated cloud threat detection capability based on the analysis of Microsoft Azure Network Security Group (NSG) flow logs. System monitors the NSG flow logs, identifies potential threats and emails security incident reports containing detailed descriptions of threats and generic recommendations for remediation.
Once configured, the list of incident report recipients is managed in the NTT Services Portal but this service requires configuration in the Azure subscription. For more details on how to configure and use these functions once it’s been configured by a NTT Ltd. migration engineer, see the following articles:

Secure Connect
Secure Connect is an optional “VPN as a Service” offering that allows remote users to connect to Microsoft Azure and other public and private infrastructure through remote access locations worldwide using supported VPN clients. Note Secure Connect is managed through its own interface rather than the NTT Services Portal and documentation is maintained on a separate site.
For more details, see Secure Connect Overview.
